Students Say No

On April 4th, 2019, over 200,000 students from across more than 700 schools in Ontario walked out of class to protest cuts made to public schools by the Ford Government. From class size increases to the loss of specialized programs and mandatory e-Learning courses, students across the province stood up and said enough to the hack and slash job on public and secondary schools in Ontario. Even after setting the record for the Largest Student Walkout in the history of Canada, this campaign currently continues as our flagship initiative of student-led activism in the K-12 sphere.
